So Japan hasn’t actually been saved yet, but we all know that Kimimaro’s going to beat/neutralize Mikuni and save the country in the end, and it’s all because Masasaki decided to troll the hell out of Mikuni.

Mikuni’s outrage tastes good. It tastes of sweet delicious successful troll.

Now, I’m not too sure what “currency interest rates” refer to (Currency exchange rates? Foreign banking interest rates?).

But thanks to 2 years of studying economic policies, I’m sure that no matter how screwed up our politics are, our coldly calculative economic planners would never let the economy falter unless the whole SEA region decides to screw with us.

I like how even when the SEA Financial District goes bankrupt, it’s only Singapore that gets wiped out.

So I know this episode was supposed to give us a little more information on how The Financial District works and the possible implications of using your future as collateral.

But I couldn’t really concentrate with all those loving camera shots of Satou-san’s body.

Some things have changed since we were last here.

Ebara found himself holding memories of a life he had never lived, and holding no memories at all of the life he has been forced into.

But then again, you didn't think things could get this bad, did you?

Was it really any small wonder that his wife left him? Sure, this wasn’t a direct consequence, but that isn’t going to make Ebara feel any better every morning in an empty, unwashed bed, now will it?

It makes sense that going bankrupt would rob you of your future. Every single dollar of Midas Money you ever spent would have been voided.
