Freezing – 02 : BDSM Valkyria Action

My impression on Freezing Episode 02:

The episode started off with the upper hierarchy questioning about how Satellizer L.Bridget was able to deploy freezing even though Pandoras can only use their limiter during actual combat.

Chiffon Fairchild (Interesting name is’nt it), the school’s Student Council President explained that the gory catfight which took place in episode one was actually a live battle simulation for the sophomores. She advised our main character, Aoi Kazuya, to transfer out instantly as he caused the untouchable ice queen to lose the battle and her ranking by burying his face in her breast in the middle of the fight. Rumour has it she killed over 20 Pandoras and limiters in her old school before transferring over.

Speaking of the devil, a wounded Satellizer with bandages alighted from a bus and walk past Aoi, seemingly ignoring his presence. Wanting to apologise for his breast diving ambush amd mistaking her as his dead sister, Aoi pulled her hand, causing Satellizer to relinquish a past memory of her crying. Shocked, she fell and dropped her glasses, which Aoi picked up for her.

Upon putting on her glasses, she blushed and walk away. Refusing to give up, Aoi pulled her arm again and apologised for causing her injuries, this time however, causing Satellizer to flare up and threaten him not to be seen by her ever again.

As things were heating up, Ganessa Roland (The twin tail red hair gal who won the carnival) appeared and stated that the title of queen now belongs to her. Not satisfied with Satellizer’s facial expression, Ganessa released her volt weapon, chain of binding and attacked Satellizer relentlessly. As expected, Satellizer effortlessly deflected her attacks and shredded her up.

Refusing to admit defeat, Ganessa went into her Pandora Mode (Strictly Forbidden unless in actual combat), unleashing an aura causing Satellizer to drop her weapon and fall onto the ground. Concerned, Aoi rushed over and touched her, causing Satellizer to ponder why she is actually fine with Aoi touching her.(Satellizer has aphephobia, a fear of being touch) Seizing the chance, Ganessa bondaged Satellizer up and slash her with razer spirals, which her pandora mode caused her chain tips transformed into.

Before Ganessa could amputate Satellizer’s right arm, Aoi stepped in and demanded her to stop. She slapped him aside, causing some of his blood to splash onto Satellizer’s face, expectedly triggering her to activate pandora mode and defeating Ganessa in one strike.

Kim Yumi (Physics Professor) and Elise Schmitz (Medical Officer) soon interfered before Satellizer could deliver the finishing move. Fairchild commented that both of them were part of the team which prevented the Eighth Nova Clash four years ago. The teachers stated that both Ganessa and Satellizer will be punished for breaking the school rules.

Aoi went on to meet Headmaster Sister Margarett and his room mate Arthur Crimpton. Arthur revealed that his nee-san (his way of addressing his pandora) is Ganessa Roland.

The scene flashed to a showering Satellizer, who blushed at the thought of Aoi touching her earlier.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the shadow, self proclaimed rookie limiter devourer Miyabi is hatching an evil scheme to corrupt innocent Aoi.

Impressions:

Opening: 7.5/10

COLOR by MARiA

My second time hearing the opening song, I realised the tune at the beginning is indeed very catchy and sweet, although sang by a slightly hoarse voice. The animation was crisp and detailed, portraying the true beauty of our main female protaganist, Satellizer. It later move on to scientific pictures, Satellizer’s transformation and some bloody fighting scenes as the rocky chorus sounded. This song definitely deserves a place in my 320kps playlist, would need to hear the full version before deciding whether its good enough to warrant itself on my lossless playlist.

Episode: 6/10

The fanservices were aplenty. Panties and Nipples were buffet serving, further intensively emphasized as the camera tends to focus on them extensively. Animation was’nt even near the standard of the beginning of the OP but still bearable. The fighting scenes somewhat reminded me of Queen’s Blade, where character’s HP are based on how naked they are or how violently their boobs shaked. The way they animated the character’s Pandora Mode reminded me of Valkyria Chronicles. Storyline was typical. I can predict our ice queen gradually melting due to the influence of Aoi Kazuya, who will also gradually recover over the loss of his sister. Meanwhile, they will have to oversome the obstacles standing in their way, with the upcoming one being Miyabi.

Ending: 5/10

Kimi wo Mamoritai (I want to protect you) by MARiA as well.

Not fanciful. Typical boring J-Pop with the anime main and side characters in alluring positions.
