Ah! My Goddess OVA Itsumo Futari de (Part 2)

So like WordPress screws my long posts over again. Anyway…

Belldandy shoops the woop.

It’s at this point in the OVA at which I lose the plot.

"THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH!" proudly proclaimed the poltergeistic puppet prince.

Five word alliteration combo.

The fireworks just happening to go off at that moment constitutes a curiously contrived, counteractively conundrum-causing coincidence.

Seven word alliteration combo!

Oh lol so she WAS a demon after all.

A very graceful loser demon too. Isn’t it weird that demon-sama is less sexually attractive than brown megami-sama? I mean, aren’t demons supposed to be all “evil is sexy”?

My reaction when it became obvious that there wasn't going to be awesome goddess sex fanservice.

Final Thoughts

From this one episode alone, I can conclude that:

1) Keiichi is more emotionally unaware than Kyousuke, more dense than that GOSICK guy, and more wimpy than… I don’t know. I don’t make it a point to watch anime with wimpy guys.

2) Belldandy is stupidly innocent and carefree and totally deserves better than Keiichi. And that I would totally watch a K-On! crossover with Belldandy making cake and tea with Mugi for 13 episodes while eating cake and tea for the other 13.

3) Evil(?) Megami-sama-chan is totally hot and needs more screentime.

Of course, after reading the totality of Kurogane’s post I can sort of understand his rage. Good thing I wasn’t a fan, eh?

... did the budget run out while commissioning art for the end cards?

Brown skinned megami-sama is actually brown skinned devil-sama’s daughter, it’s just brown skinned devil-sama has both an adult (and EXTREMELY voluptuous) shape and a child shape.

Yes. It’s that kind of series.

… So like. The mother looks like her daughter’s daughter. And the daughter calls her mother by her first name. Shoulda stuck to cousins, or something.

The daughter doesn’t have a lot of respect or love for the mother (that’s why she chooses to stay with her goddess half-sisters instead). So she doesn’t call her ‘mom’ or anything like that.
